Substance Abuse Testing
As part of our commitment to a drug-free workplace, all Sparks Security Services potential candidates for employment are administered a pre-employment drug test.
Personality Evaluation
A winning security program is directly related to the excellence of its employees. Our comprehensive approach to screening and hiring helps ensure we employ only the best-qualified people. A psychological exam is given to all potential candidates. Applicant scores must fall into an adequate range in each of the categories before advancing.
Basic Training Module (Must Pass the Training Class)
Sparks Security Services Security Officer Basic Training Module Course is designed to introduce candidates to the security industry. Candidates must successfully complete the Basic Training Module Course with a passing final exam.
NYS Criminal Background Check
All applicants must already be registered with New York Department of State, Division of Licensing Services as a Security Officer. All potential employees are checked with the Department of State and are not hired unless Sparks Security Services receives authorization from the NYS Guard Registry.
